|August 1st and 2nd||Assisting the BBC with its World War One at Home exhibition to commemorate 100 years since the start of World War One. This exhibition toured the UK from May to September 2014. The City Square, Dundee was the only Scottish venue, and one of only 8 flagship events. The club was asked by the BBC to demonstrate Morse to the public in the wartime communications tent. The four Club members who volunteered to participate in this event were overwhelmed at the positive response from the public to what was for many their first experience of communicating by Morse code. A big thanks to Tom GM3NHQ, Andy, MM0CXA, Colin GM4JPZ and Jim MM0DXD for taking part in what was an enjoyable but exhausting 2 days.|
|12th August||YOTA - Youngsters on the Air. A successful day with the Angus Scouts as part of YOTA 2017, getting involved in radio contacts and construction.|
